The Perse’s fourth annual telephone campaign has now come to an end. Thank you to everyone who took part in the campaign – our recent leavers thoroughly enjoyed talking to Old Perseans, past parents and friends of the School.
We are very grateful for the generous support of all those who decided to make a gift as part of the campaign. Donations are still coming in, but this campaign has already received the most support in Perse history – thank you!
Philanthropy has been at the heart of The Perse since Dr Stephen Perse left substantial funds to realise his vision of setting up a first class educational establishment in 1615. The funds raised during the campaign will help us to provide life-changing opportunities for young people from a wide range of backgrounds by promoting goals inspired by our founder’s philanthropy:
• Means-tested bursaries for pupils who would not otherwise be able to access a Perse education
• Outreach work in the local community such as our partnerships with local primary schools
• Facilities that support and enhance our core mission, such as a new performing arts centre to provide a space for learning beyond the classroom
